Easy Company Band of Brothers
- Entered the U.S. Army at the age of 19
- One of two Native American scouts for the 101st Airborne Easy Company throughout all campaigns
- Normandy Invasion
- Operation Market Garden
- Battle of the Bulge at Bastogne ( Earl states, "we wrapped our feet in gunny sacks to save them. There were more casualties from the weather than the war.")
- Easy Company captured Berchtesgarden where Earl was the first U.S. soldier to enter Tea House (now called Eagles Nest), and Field Marshal Herman Goering's home.
- Re-enlisted in 1946 at Ft. Benning, after which he was sent to Greenville, SC where he worked an an instructor for glider pilots.
